Remember your wholeness
Embody your life
Namma, You Embodied is a collaborative sanctuary for whole-person care, embodied practice, meaningful gathering, and human belonging.
It is a professional home for independently owned and operated practices. A gathering place for clinicians, healers, teachers, facilitators, and community-builders alike, whose work may take different forms, yet share a reverence for whole-person, embodied care.
Here, ancient wisdom meets modern care.
One place.
Many forms of care.
Working together to support the whole person.

Namma belongs to one of humanity’s earliest written cosmologies. In ancient Mesopotamian tradition, she is an ancient mother goddess associated with Eridu, mother of Enki, and a figure of primordial creation. Ancient sources give her the title “mother who gave birth to the heavens and the earth.”
Her name does not literally mean “water,” and its precise etymology is uncertain. What is remarkable about Namma’s divine name is that it was written with the same cuneiform sign used for cosmic subterranean waters. Her relationship to those deep waters is therefore not a modern symbolism placed upon her; it is embedded in the ancient written tradition itself.
Symbolically, she belongs to the undivided source before polarity. Before above and below, feminine and masculine, inner and outer, spirit and matter are experienced as separate.

In medieval Europe, treacle (from the Greek theriakē,) referred to a medicinal preparation believed to have broad healing and protective properties. Over time, the word came to mean a healing or restorative remedy, and eventually evolved into its modern meaning of something sweet, like syrup.
We believe wellbeing isn't found in one modality, one practitioner, or one prescription. It emerges through the right combination of care, connection, and practices for each individual.
At Namma we bring together diverse practitioners and healing traditions to create a more holistic experience of care. Like a treacle of old, Namma brings many forms of care together under one roof. From acupuncture and Reiki to movement, meditation, community, and restorative practices, each offering is one part of a larger ecosystem of wellbeing.

Embodiment is the movement from knowing something to living it. It is bringing awareness into the body and allowing what we know, sense, remember, or encounter to become lived experience.
It is medicine and nervous system, movement and stillness, touch and sound, physical healing and inner knowing. It is what happens when insight ceases to be only an idea and begins to alter the way we breathe, move, relate, choose, create, heal, and inhabit our lives.
Through practices like acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, Reiki Energy Healing, Hypnotherapy, Talk Therapy, Sound Healing, Yoga, Women’s Gatherings & Depth Work, Reiki + Ritual Circles, Group Therapy Work, Breathwork and Meditation, our collaborators of healers, therapists, teachers, practitioners, and facilitators share a reverence for whole-person embodiment and care.
