Robyn Brush

DACM, LAc, AOBTA-CP

Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Asian Bodywork Practitioner

Goji Acupuncutre

Robyn Brush is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, nationally board-certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a certified practitioner of Asian bodywork therapies (AOBTA-CP). She earned her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2026 and her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin in 2020.

Before entering Chinese medicine, Robyn began her career in community mental health, working as a behavioral health case manager with adults experiencing serious mental illness. Her experience in the social work field taught her the value of “teaching a person to fish”—a philosophy she continues to bring to patient care today. She places a strong emphasis on education, empowerment, and thoughtful evaluation of the lifestyle factors that influence health, with the goal of helping patients develop the knowledge and tools to take a more active and independent role in their own well-being.

Robyn's personal experience as an acupuncture patient ultimately inspired her to leave the Midwest and move to Austin to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. Today, her approach combines the principles of Chinese medicine with contemporary clinical knowledge and an emphasis on evidence-informed, person-centered care. Rather than approaching symptoms in isolation, she considers each patient's health history, lifestyle, stress, sleep, nutrition, and individual goals when developing a treatment plan.

Her primary clinical interests include musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, women's health, fertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART/IVF) support, and supportive oncology care. Depending on the patient's needs, treatment may incorporate acupuncture, electroacupuncture, auricular acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, Tuina and other Asian bodywork techniques, Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy, and lifestyle recommendations. Her clinical background includes both high-volume acupuncture practice and multidisciplinary integrative healthcare settings.

Robyn has pursued advanced training in several of her primary areas of clinical interest. She completed Fundamentals of Oncology Acupuncture through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, advanced fertility training through Jane Lyttleton's The Treatment of Infertility, and additional training in orthopedic acupuncture.

As part of her doctoral training, Robyn completed an oncology observership at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she shadowed breast oncology specialists and gained additional exposure to cancer diagnosis and treatment, treatment-related side effects, interdisciplinary care, and evidence-based complementary approaches used alongside conventional cancer treatment.

At Goji Acupuncture, Robyn's goal is to create a collaborative environment where patients feel heard, understand their treatment options, and leave with practical tools they can use outside the treatment room. She believes that Chinese medicine is most effective when it is not simply something done to a patient, but part of a broader process of helping people better understand their bodies and make informed, sustainable choices about their health.

When she isn't treating patients, Robyn enjoys continuing her education in integrative health, experimenting with healthy recipes, managing damage control for her mischievous cat Oliver, and traveling to explore National Parks whenever time allows.
